An arboretum is a promise to future generations.  Hoyt Arboretum Friends hopes to work with you to ensure that Portland's world-class arboretum not only provides enjoyment and education for our community today, but also leaves a legacy for the future and helps support global conservation efforts to preserve endangered plant species.

The trees we enjoy today at the arboretum were planted lifetimes ago, by the visionaries and gardeners who labored to create a beautiful urban green space that would endure for decades to come.  Today, we are obliged to be good stewards for this resource that is increasingly vital and valuable.  Please make a gift to the Hoyt Arboretum Endowment and/or include Hoyt Arboretum in your estate plan to help support the ongoing work of caring for the trees, trails and programs of Hoyt Arboretum.
