Rental Information

Hoyt Arboretum’s Wedding Meadow offers the feel of wilderness within an urban area and is available for full-day rental. 

The Meadow:

 ~ is located off the Arboretum’s Spruce Trail, about 1/3 mile from the Hoyt Arboretum Visitor Center.

 ~ is a rustic setting away from the main roads with no buildings or structures visible.

 ~ has capacity for 100 people.

 ~ has vehicle access for delivery of items such as canopies, chairs, tables, and port-a-potties rented from outside sources.

 ~ is not ADA accessible but elderly and disabled persons may be driven down on the access road, Bray Lane.

 ~ does not have electricity, water or bathroom facilities available.

 ~ rental proceeds support the Hoyt Arboretum plant collections and programs and Portland Parks and Recreation.

All  Park rules and regulations apply to use of the Wedding Meadow.

 







Permits are issued for the current calendar year only.  Reservations are taken for weddings beginning the first business day after the New Year and are processed on a first come first served basis.  Picnics and other events can be scheduled beginning the first week in March.

Vehicle access to the Meadow is included as part of the rental.  However, a deposit must be made when picking up the key to the access road and will be returned when the key is returned. Access keys must be picked up at the City Reservation Center (1120 SW 5^th) in advance of the event.  Reservation Center hours are weekdays 8:30 AM to 4 PM.   Keys may be obtained 48 hours before the permitted event.  There are no access keys available at the Arboretum.

Payment in cash, by check, money order or credit card (Visa,Mastercard or Discover) is accepted.
