Vehicle Access

Wedding Meadow
Vehicle access is part of the Wedding Meadow rental and there is no vehicle access fee.  However,  the key to Bray Lane must be picked up at the City Reservation Center  in advance of the event and a refundable $100 key deposit is necessary.  The $100 fee is returned when the key is returned.  Renters can pick up the key 48 hours before their event. All vehicle access fees must be picked up at the City Reservation Center (1152 SW 5^th) in advance of the event and a $100 refundable key deposit must be paid. 

There are no vehicle access keys available through the Arboretum Visitor Center or offices.

 
Picnic Shelter
Vehicle access is optional for the Picnic Shelter.  The shelter is ADA accessible and has a ramp leading to it from the small parking lot in front, but caterers and those bringing canopies, large barbeques etc. may want closer access.  The vehicle access fee for the shelter is $50.50.  All vehicle access fees must be picked up at the City Reservation Center (1152 SW 5^th) in advance of the event and a $100 refundable key deposit must be paid.

There are no vehicle access keys available through the Arboretum Visitor Center or offices.

Security Deposit

A $125.00 security deposit is required to rent facilities at Hoyt Arboretum.  It is fully refundable provided the facilities are left clean and all conditions of use, rules and regulations are followed.  The damage deposit will not be refunded if:

• picnic tables are unbolted or damaged in any way.
• the gate to Bray Lane (access road to the Wedding Meadow) is left open.
• trash is left at the Picnic Shelter or in the Wedding Meadow.
• the trees, trails or natural areas are damaged as a result of renter actions or negligence
