Rental Information

Easy to access, yet secluded and serene, the Stevens Pavilion Picnic Shelter in the Hoyt Arboretum is available for half or full-day rental.  The picnic shelter:

     ~ is an A-frame structure with wooden beams and stone floors, open on all four sides and nestled in grove of Douglas fir trees.

     ~ is located across the street from the Hoyt Arboretum Visitor Center with its restrooms, bus stops and parking.

    ~ is ADA   accessible.

     ~ has electricity (110 v only).

     ~ has no potable water,  but water is available at the Visitor Center across the street.

     ~ has 10 permanently affixed picnic tables within its interior.

     ~ has 4 permanently affixed tables in the grassy area surrounding it.

     ~ has capacity for 100 people.

     ~ has vehicle access available for caterers and delivery trucks.

     ~ rental proceeds support the Hoyt Arboretum plant collections and programs.

Permits are issued for the current calendar year only.  Reservations are taken for weddings beginning the first business day after the New Year and are processed on a first come first served basis.  Picnics and other events can be scheduled beginning the first week in March.

Payment in cash, by check, money order or credit card (Visa or Mastercard) is accepted.

All park Rules and Regulations apply to use of the Picnic Shelter.
