The Arboretum’s collections are planted in taxonomic families in accordance with a master plan and are grown from seeds collected in the wild.  Specimens within each collection are labeled so that visitors can find individual trees using the Plant Inventory Guide available at the Visitor Center.

A library of over 500 horticultural books and periodicals in the Bill deWeese classroom is open to the public during Visitor Center hours.
