Hoyt Arboretum Visitor Services
Hoyt Arboretum provides educational materials about the tree collections as well as services for visitors from around the world.
Hoyt Arboretum, a 187-acre living museum of trees and plants from all over the world, is located just 2 miles west of downtown Portland. Volunteers staff the Visitor Center and are there to answer questions and help interpret the Arboretum and its tree collections during Visitor Center hours. A variety of trail maps and educational and self-guided walk brochures are available in the brochure rack outside the Visitor Center at all times.
A place of beauty and serenity in all seasons, the Arboretum is easily accessible from anywhere in the metropolitan area, by car, bus or the MAX light rail. You will also find parking, restroom facilities, ADA accessible trails and ADA parking at or near the Visitor Center. Admission is free.
