Visitor Center
Hoyt Arboretum Visitor Center is staffed by volunteers who can interpret the collections and help people plan their visit. A small gift shop, library and educational brochures are also available.
The Visitor Center is located in the heart of the Arboretum at 4000 SW Fairview Blvd, two miles west of downtown Portland.
It is staffed by volunteers who can interpret the tree collections and help people plan their visit. A small gift shop and research library are open to the public during Visitor Center hours. Brochures, maps and other publications are available outside the Visitor Center at all times.

Visitor Center Hours are:
| Monday through Friday | 9 am – 4 pm |
| Saturday | 9 am – 3 pm |
| Sundays and major holidays | Closed |
Grounds are open and free to the public from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm daily.
There is parking at the Visitor Center, at the entrance to the Bristlecone Pine Trail (off Fischer Lane), in front of the Stevens Pavilion on Fairview Blvd. and near the Vietnam Veteran's Memorial. There are several handicapped parking spaces in each of the parking lots. Parking is also permitted along Fairview Blvd.
The Visitor Center and its restrooms are wheelchair accessible. Restrooms are open 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m daily.
