Come play and explore yoga outdoors among the trees! Family yoga is an imaginative class exploring partner poses, breathing exercises, and storytelling with movement. It is a beautiful way to relax, laugh, and connect as a family and with nature. This class is recommended for children 2-10 and their caregivers. No prior yoga experience is necessary. Please bring along a yoga mat or blanket.
- Registration fee is per child (adults are free).
- Class size is limited and pre-registration is required.
About the instructor: Angela Ruggles is a nature and art educator and certified yoga instructor (RYT 500 & RCYT). She is the founder of The Nature Atelier, where she explores art, movement, and the environment to inspire a passion for protecting the planet. Angela has a background in museum education and paleoethnobotany and is a self-taught artist. She received an MS in International Museum Studies from the University of Gothenburg and a MA in Anthropological Archaeology from the University of British Columbia.
