Ground yourself while awakening energy within through guided Qigong movements. Then stroll to a special grove of trees featuring ginkgo, Chinese and Japanese white pine, Japanese red pine, dawn redwood, and others. There you will be guided through a tree reading that can focus on a specific area of concern, or may simply open you to guidance and receiving messages. The Tree Cards—a uniquely accurate oracle—help bridge the connection to tree wisdom. These cards were inspired by meeting the trees in the Arboretum and discovering that each species carries a distinct energy and message.
Bring a journal to capture your insights. If you have a deck of Tree Cards, bring them along! A few loaner decks are available. There is also a special ticket price if you would like to purchase your own deck of cards for a discounted price for this class only.
About the Tree Cards – The Tree Cards emerged from Flora’s deep connection with trees. Each tree species carries a unique energy and message, which she recorded. Traditional lore later confirmed the same wisdom—affirming the trees as profound teachers and trusted friends.

About the Instructor: Flora Rudolph is an artist and spiritual explorer who discovered the wisdom of trees after a life-changing encounter with a Douglas-fir in 2007. A traumatic brain injury soon after altered her path, but healing came through the trees, leading to the creation of the Tree Cards—messages of guidance from different species. Flora now leads Forest Bathing + Meeting Trees workshops, self-guided experiences, tree readings, online and in-person courses, and a membership community.
