Begin your program time with Qigong to ground and awaken our energy. Then stroll to a special grove of trees featuring ginkgo, Chinese and Japanese white pine, Japanese red pine, dawn redwood, and others. Your tree reading can focus on a specific area of concern, or you may simply open to guidance and receive messages. The Tree Cards—a uniquely accurate oracle—help bridge the connection to tree wisdom. These cards were inspired by meeting the trees in the Arboretum and discovering that each species carries a distinct energy and message. We will explore many of the approaches to your readings.
Bring a journal to capture your insights. If you have a deck of Tree Cards, bring them along! A few loaner decks are available. There is also a special ticket price if you would like to purchase your own deck of cards for a discounted price for this class only.
About the Tree Cards
The Tree Cards emerged from Flora’s deep connection with trees. Each tree species carries a unique energy and message, which she recorded. Traditional lore later confirmed the same wisdom—affirming the trees as profound teachers and trusted friends.

About the Instructor: Flora Rudolph was an artist, designer, realtor, and spiritual explorer. In 2007, she was captivated by the powerful presence from a Doug-fir and became passionate about meeting trees. After a life-changing experience, she visited the Arboretum trees again asking for healing. Settling in the hornbeam grove she was given the direction and peace needed and over the next several years received the Tree Cards. She gives workshops on Forest Bathing + Meeting Trees, most recently at Skamania and Sitka, creates Self-Guided Forest Bathing Walks, gives readings, personal sessions in the trees, podcasts, and created an on-line course that is now available called Tree Speak! More at www.meetingtrees.com.
