At this month’s Breakfast & Learn, we’re honored to be joined by lichenologist Dr. Hannah Prather from Reed College to learn a bit about the fascinating world of lichens! Drawing on her research from Oregon’s forests to the Western Antarctic Peninsula, she will share insights into how these remarkable organisms thrive in diverse environments, including the Pacific Northwest. Learn how lichens and mosses provide clues about ecosystem health and discover why these often-overlooked organisms are essential to our natural world.
