Qigong, pronounced “chi gong,” has both psychological and physical benefits. Individuals practice body movement, breath, and posture in order to optimize over all health and well-being. Qigong was developed thousands of years ago as a part of Chinese medicine. Instructor Thomas will guide participants through breathing patterns and gentle movement underneath the trees of the Arboretum.
No experience is necessary, only an interest in exploring the many benefits of qigong.
Class size is limited; online registration is required.
About the Instructor: Thomas Ouyang has been teaching qigong for more than 30 years. 15 years of instruction in South Pasadena, CA and 13 years in LA County. He specializes in qigong, wushu, acupressure, herbs, and more.
