It’s autumn here in the Pacific Northwest, and that means all the colors of the season are shining. Join Casey Clapp, of the podcast Completely Arbortrary, for an upbeat walk to explore the dominant shades of green and the breathtaking colors of fall at Hoyt Arboretum. This walk is sure to be filled with curious facts, stories, and ecological intrigue as you weave your way through the global collection of trees and colors right here in Portland, OR.

The tour will cover approximately 2 miles of walking on sloping, well graded, packed-dirt trails.

Class size is limited and pre-registration is required.

About the instructor: Casey Clapp is the co-creator and co-host of the podcast Completely Arbortrary, a weekly podcast about trees and other related topics. An ISA Board Certified Master Arborist, Casey is a modern naturalist focused on education and science communication centered around trees and their impact on the world around them. He specializes in urban forestry and arboriculture and is passionate about sharing his love of trees with the people around him.
