Winter is the time for evergreens. It is when their energy is most potent and clear.  Join our instructor Flora to be warmed by the presence of trees on a cold January day.  In this class, you will have the opportunity to connect with this rich and resonant energy through warming Qigong movements and walking through the forest.  Class will conclude with hot tea in the Visitor Center library. Bundle-up and welcome the warming embrace of spruce, redwood, cedar and Douglas-fir.  Each participant will draw a Tree Transformation Card for a personal and group tune-in.

  • Class size is limited; online registration is required
  • Tree Transformation Oracle Cards are available for purchase inside the Hoyt Arboretum Visitor Center for $38.00

About the Instructor: Flora Rudolph was an artist, designer, realtor, and spiritual explorer. In 2007, she was captivated by the powerful presence from a Doug-fir and became passionate about meeting trees.  After a life-changing experience, she visited the Arboretum trees again asking for healing. Settling in the hornbeam grove she was given the direction and peace needed and over the next several years received the Tree Cards. She gives workshops on Forest Bathing + Meeting Trees, most recently at Skamania and Sitka, creates Self-Guided Forest Bathing Walks, gives readings, personal sessions in the trees, podcasts, and created an on-line course that is now available called Tree Speak!  More at www.meetingtrees.com.
