Bring your community group for a private tour and learn about the global collection of trees that call the Arboretum home.
Hoyt Arboretum can host groups of at least 20 individuals for a private tour, a great way to build community within your group and introduce them to the Arboretum as a resource for recreation and education. Please give at least three weeks to arrange a volunteer tour guide for your group. For private tours, there’s a recommended donation of $5/person.
To enhance your group’s experience, a variety of educational and self-guided walk brochures are available at the Visitor Center. Volunteers staff the Visitor Center and are there to answer questions and help interpret the Arboretum for the public during Visitor Center hours. The Hoyt Arboretum Plant Database is a free online resource that allows you to search for tree and plant species growing in the Arboretum.
